Valhalla Holdings has teamed up with the Rotary Club of North Phoenix to produce the event program guide. "This is an excellent chance for us to lend our talents for a great cause and a great event", says, Craig Haugo, President of Valhalla Holdings. "To help non-profits and charities gain exposure and get traction in the community is part of the core beliefs of this organization. We are Stagehands, we help."

Arizona Kids Count brings sports and music superstars together for good cause Phoenix, Arizona—February 8, 2007—On kids_count_cover.jpgMarch 9 and 10, 2007, Firebird International Raceway will host Arizona Kids Count, The Ultimate Family Adventure. Two days of concerts, car shows and appearances from local sports stars—all to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital, John C. Lincoln’s Desert Mission Programs, Lura Turner Homes and other Phoenix children’s charities.

Presented by the Rotary Club of North Phoenix, The Ultimate Family Adventure will feature a Friday night concert by country artist Travis Tritt. On Saturday night, guests will be treated to a rock and roll triple-bill with The Guess Who with special guest Blood, Sweat & Tears, plus the Hollywood Allstarz. Throughout both days, local bands will play. Bands will be provided by NP Productions.

Sports fans will appreciate appearances by players from the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes and the Arizona Cardinals. Magic performances will be held throughout the festival. Families will be able to enjoy midway games and free rides at the carnival. Cartoon characters, clowns and other entertainers will stroll the grounds. Classic car clubs, NASCAR displays and simulator, live duck race, Native American dancing, pony rides and more than 350 exhibitors will round out a very full weekend of fun and games.

The Firebird International Raceway is located at I-10 and Wild Horse Pass. Park admission is $30 per carload (2 adults and 3 children) or from $55 per person for park and concert admission. Festival hours are noon to midnight on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. Tickets are available at the gate and discounts are available online at www.azkidscount.org.
